About Sew Much

Hello Fabric Friends!

I want to tell you a little about myself and Sew Much. I learned to sew at a young age from my mother who sewed custom clothing and expertly altered garments. I gained an appreciation for good fabric from the get go and my love of fabric began. I made my own clothes in high school, big sweatshirts and baggy pants so skinny at the ankles I could barely get my feet in them, but I felt cool!

Fast forward a few years. I found myself wanting a place to find great textiles for clothing, home decor, quilts, and bags. The first quilt I made was a crib quilt for my daughter and then so many dresses, until "it's not cool anymore mom". 

I started Sew Much in 2009 to offer quality fabrics to sewists like me looking for unique and better offerings than the chain stores. I focused mostly on designer quality apparel fabrics, but was also intrigued by the modern quilting fabrics and how they can be used to make fabulous quilts, clothing, and more. 

I closed the brick and mortar store a few years ago to concentrate on family,  but have continued to provide exceptional fabrics and sewing supplies online. 

I am constantly in pursuit of fabulously unique fabrics and supplies, as well as creating fun and easy kits for a variety of projects. 

I want to be your fabric shop you can turn to for fun and interesting things with some helpful tips along the way.
